How to do it
Hang from a bar with a supinated grip (palms toward you), shoulder-width. Active shoulders. Pull the chest toward the bar by driving the elbows down and back. Chin clears the bar. Lower under control to a full hang.

- Shrugging the shoulders toward the ears at the start — set the shoulder blades down and back before initiating the pull to keep the movement mechanically sound.
