We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies — and we ask before switching on anything that isn’t essential.
This policy explains what cookies and browser-storage technologies Adaptiv uses, what each one is for, and how you can change your choices at any time. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.
There are two categories. Strictly necessary technologies keep the Service running and cannot be turned off. Analytics technologies are optional: they stay switched off until you choose to accept them, and you can withdraw that choice whenever you like.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as local and session storage in your browser — work in comparable ways. Together they let a service remember information between pages and visits.
We use them for a few specific jobs: keeping you signed in, protecting the Service against misuse, processing payments securely, remembering your cookie choice, and — only with your consent — understanding how the Service is used so we can improve it.
We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell information collected through them.
Strictly necessary technologies
These are required for the Service to work. They do not track you for marketing or analytics, and they cannot be disabled through our cookie settings — if you block them in your browser, parts of the Service may stop working.

Analytics technologies
Analytics help us understand how the Service is used — which features people use, where they run into difficulty, and how quickly pages load — so we can improve it. These are not switched on until you accept them. If you reject analytics, none of the technologies below are loaded and no analytics information is sent.

Google Analytics is provided by Google and may involve a transfer of information to the United States. More detail on our providers and the safeguards used for international transfers is in our Privacy Policy.
Managing your preferences
When you first visit, we ask whether you want to allow analytics. Analytics stays off unless you accept, and choosing “essential only” is as easy as accepting.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of our website. It reopens the same panel, where you can turn analytics on or off. Your choice is remembered so you are not asked again on every page.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may stop parts of the Service from working. Rejecting analytics will not affect your ability to create an account, subscribe or use the core features of Adaptiv.
Third-party cookies
Some providers set their own cookies when you interact with their services. In particular, Stripe may set cookies during checkout to process payments securely and prevent fraud, and Google sets cookies where you have accepted analytics.
Where you are redirected to a third-party website, or interact with an embedded third-party service, that provider’s own privacy and cookie policies apply to the information they collect.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, if we add or remove a provider or change how a technology is used. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
Where a change materially affects the analytics technologies we use, we will ask for your consent again before switching anything new on.
